Chadrixy's Infinite
Star Wars fan? This Minecraft mod lets you build the lightsaber you've always dreamed of. Hunt down its blueprints, put it together piece by piece at the forge, then learn to parry, dodge and throw it.
A free mod, and it'll stay that way. For Minecraft 26.2 with Fabric.
A lightsaber that really lights up the world
Bring your blade close to a wall and it takes on the color. The ground, the blocks, the characters: everything reacts to your light. The mod does all of it on its own, no shaderpack needed.
Pick your crystal
Go ahead: this key ignites and retracts the blade, here and in the game (W on an AZERTY keyboard).
Tap the saber to ignite or retract it.
Emitter Antler, in gold
Grip Twist, in chrome
Pommel Radiator, in copper
Crystal Azure
Your lightsaber, piece by piece
At the forge, you pick an emitter, a grip, a pommel and a crystal. Each part has its own shape and its own metal. A gold emitter on a chrome grip? Go for it, nobody's judging.
You get 20 emitters, 20 grips, 20 pommels, 4 metals and 10 crystals to play with. Add two upgrade slots to stretch the blade, make it crackle or keep it lit underwater. With saberstaffs, that comes to 180,334,336,000 possible sabers. Yes, we did the math.
The Assembly Forge
Your whole workshop fits on this one bench. Design your parts, build your saber, couple two into a saberstaff, and take it all apart when you change your mind. You get every part back, crystal included, so try anything you like.
Build yours right now
No need to wait for release. Every part in the mod is waiting for you in the workshop: mix shapes and metals, swap crystals, spin your saber in 3D, then send it to your friends with a single link.
Open the workshopAll built in the workshop. Click a saber to pick it up and make it yours.
Parry, dodge,
throw your saber
A duel worthy of Star Wars isn't won by mashing the mouse. Your blade hits whatever it passes through, and every parry wears down your posture. Empty the gauge and your guard breaks: for four seconds you can't parry, and every hit hurts more.
-
Light attack
Left click
Five strikes that flow together, with a thrust to finish.
-
Heavy attack
Shift Left click
It's slower, but whoever parries it loses all their posture at once. They'd better dodge.
-
Guard and parry
Right click
Raise your guard at the last moment and the parry costs you nothing. Hide behind it and you pay full price.
-
Dodge
Double tap
Tap back, left or right twice, quickly, and you leap. It costs posture, so pick your moment.
-
Double jump
Jump in the air
Jump in mid-air to flip and land behind your opponent. From there, they can't parry you.
-
Throw
Shift Right click
Your saber cuts through everything in its path, out and back, then lands in your hand. Unlock it in the skill tree.
-
Melt through blocks
Left click Right click
Hold both buttons and the tip burns right through. A door won't stop you for long.
-
Inspect your saber
I
In first person, standing still, the blade retracts and the saber spins in front of you. Take a moment to admire your work.
The best parts have to be earned
The crafting table only gets you the standard parts. Everything else comes from blueprints, hidden in chests in villages, mineshafts, temples, bastions and End cities. Some villagers sell them too. Put a blueprint on a standard part at the forge and it takes its new shape. So open every chest: the next one might hold your favorite emitter.
Blueprints to find
Two factions, one war, and you in the middle
The Vigils
They never say a word. The first thing you'll hear is a red or purple blade igniting in the dark. Grand Vigils take more punishment, and they've mastered the whirlwind, the riposte and the plunging strike.
The Meridians
They live in their outposts, sanctuaries and temples, and even in villages. Hit one and you get a warning. Hit them again and everyone nearby comes for you, until you die. Masters, older and far more dangerous, guard the sanctuaries and temples.
Feel like picking a side? Defeat 250 Grand Vigils and you can ally with the Meridians. Defeat 250 Meridian Masters and the Vigils will take you in. Only one alliance at a time: your allies will come to your defense, but joining the Vigils makes every Meridian your enemy.

You're probably wondering
How do I get a lightsaber in Minecraft?
Craft an Assembly Forge and three standard parts at the crafting table, go find a crystal in a cave, then put it all together at the forge. There's your first saber.
Is this an official Star Wars mod?
No, it's a free, unofficial fan mod inspired by Star Wars. You get the lightsabers and the duels, but no characters from the films: the factions and places are the mod's own.
Do I need a shaderpack?
No, and that's the whole idea. The mod draws its own glow and cast light, and Fabric API is its only dependency.
When's it coming out?
With v1.0. There's no date yet, but the YouTube channel will be the first to announce it.
Which version of Minecraft do I need?
Minecraft Java 26.2, with Fabric Loader 0.20.1 or newer, Fabric API and Java 25.
Does it work on Forge, NeoForge or Bedrock?
No, it only runs on Minecraft Java with Fabric.
Is it really free?
Yes, entirely, and it'll stay that way.
Does it work in singleplayer and multiplayer?
Yes to both. In singleplayer, just install it in your game. On a server, it has to be on the server and on every player's game, because the parts, structures and creatures all come from the mod.
Where on earth does 180,334,336,000 come from?
20 emitters, 20 grips and 20 pommels, each in 4 metals, with 10 crystals and 21 upgrade combinations: 107,520,000 single sabers. A saberstaff couples two complete sabers, which adds 180,226,816,000 builds. The total grows with every part added. Good luck running into the same saber twice.
Can I change the keys?
Yes. Z (W on AZERTY) ignites the blade, J opens the skill tree and I inspects your saber; you can change them all in the game's controls.
